                                              TERM AND CONDITIONS
Here at Wolf Creek Bees LLC, we make every attempt to make sure that the bees are ready on time for either pick up or for shipping However, there are factors that affect bee production, such as the WEATHER upon which we have no control. If this situation occurs and we are required to change pick up and shipping dates, we will alert you either by e-mail or phone call as to the changes and will confirm an alternate date. Please be reminded that we will not make any refunds on bees that do not arrive on a scheduled date as planned.

We will charge a $6.00 fee for order changes or cancellations that you, the customer, makes after the order is finalized.

A certificate of health is provided with each package of bees. This does not guarantee that you will have success with establishing a colony of bees from your package or for the survival of the bees once they are hived. The customer is responsible for what happens to the package once it has either been picked up or delivered via shipment. Packages that do not survive after the customer takes possession of them will not be refunded.

Although beekeeping is an enjoyable hobby, it is not without risks.
Wolf Creek Bees LLC is not held responsible for any injury, death or loss to either an individual or to property from bees purchased from Wolf Creek Bees LLC.

PHONE AND EMAIL ORDERS:

By placing an order over the phone or by email, the customer agrees to the TERMS AND CONDITIONS of Wolf Creek Bees LLC.

PACKAGE BEE PICK UP ONLY:

It is normal to have up to 1” of dead bees evenly spaced on the bottom of the package. This is due to the age of the worker bees when they were packaged.(At the height of the honey flow worker bees only live 4 - 6 weeks) For that reason we add extra bees to each package to cover any loss, if any. You are free to select another package that has fewer dead bees in the bottom if desired.

In the past we replaced queens at no charge, but due to beekeeper errors (some of which are listed below) we regret that we ae no longer able to perform this service.

When transporting bees and queens please remember that bees are live creatures and are susceptible to the following:

DON'T:
1. Park cars in the sun with the bees and queens inside.
2. Queens should not be put on consoles and dashboards of vehicle in sun
3. AC should not blow directly on bees and /or queens
4. Vehicles that have transported pets to the vet’s office for flea treatment. This also includes home flea treatments.
5. Vehicles that transport yard and farm chemicals
6. Bees and queens need to be protected from direct wind, such as the back of a truck or an open window in a moving vehicle.
7. NEVER put bees and queens in the trunk of a car or enclosed in totes.

Your package will be checked before it leaves our premises in order to ascertain that the queen is alive and that you are satisfied with your bees.

As always, Wolf Creek Bees LLC will make every effort to assist you in rearing a successful hive and will always answer questions and offer advice as needed.

SHIPMENTS ONLY:

Package bees are guaranteed to have no more than 1” of dead bees evenly spaced on the bottom of the package at time of delivery. For that reason we add extra bees to each package to cover any loss.

Bees that are shipped will be insured by the USPS during transit ONLY. We guarantee that the bees have been state inspected and will go into shipment in good condition. In the event that your bees arrive dead or damaged the USPS will issue a refund, not Wolf Creek Bees LLC. You must file a claim with the USPS in order to obtain your refund. Please refer to our page: HOW TO FILE A USPS CLAIM.

If the bees arrive in good condition, but the queen is dead, follow the same instructions to file a claim with the USPS. Please refer to our page: HOW TO FILE A USPS CLAIM.

Keep the dead queen with the bees until a new queen is received. You can go ahead and install the bees along with the dead queen. Keep the queen in her cage and install her in the hive as usual. She will still be exuding pheromones and the bees will smell her. This will keep the bees going until a new one arrives.

If replacement bees or queens are desired, you will need to order and pay for replacements. Remember: the USPS will refund you for the dead or damaged bees or queens, not Wolf Creek Bees LLC. It is the customer’s responsibility to file the claim.
